Now leading with what OnTime does best: the official green/yellow/red speech timer built for Toastmasters clubs and contests, plus a live talk-time tracker for fairer meetings.
Audio cues now play through the speaker even on silent, background boundary alerts fire reliably, resuming after a long pause plays the correct stage cue, and the Live Activity re-syncs to real elapsed time. Meeting History is correctly gated as a Pro feature.
Initial release: Toastmasters-standard green/yellow/red timing, Single Speaker and Meeting modes, built-in speech-type presets, custom speech types, timer reports, sound and haptic alerts, Color-Blind Mode, and Live Activities.
Speech prep, timer cues, troubleshooting
Built-in templates for Toastmasters Pathways speeches, TED talks, conference talks, classroom presentations, and custom durations. Each template has its own green/yellow/red cue points. Pro lets you edit cue points per speech.
Yes (Pro). Customize duration, cue colors, and cue points, then save as a template. The template appears in the picker for future sessions.
Audio cues are off by default to avoid surprising the speaker. Enable in Settings → Audio. If enabled but silent: AVAudioSession may have been interrupted by a call. Re-launch the app to reset.
iOS 16.1+ on any iPhone. iPhone 14 Pro and newer get the Dynamic Island view. Older iPhones get a regular Live Activity on the lock screen.
Indefinitely on free tier (last 10 sessions). Pro keeps unlimited history with notes, durations, and ranges. All on-device, no cloud.
Pause/resume uses CFAbsoluteTimeGetCurrent for monotonic timing — drift should be <100ms. If you see seconds of drift, an iOS time-zone change happened mid-session. Restart the timer.
