iOS refreshes widgets on a system schedule (every 15 min - 1 hour). Force refresh: long-press widget → Edit Widget → Done. Or open Not Another Countdown to trigger an immediate widget reload.
Lock screen widgets refresh less aggressively than home-screen widgets. Wake the phone and let iOS refresh, or open the app once.
Each countdown has its own notification toggle. Open the countdown → Edit → Reminders → enable. iOS Focus mode may suppress the visible alert.
That notification fires at midnight in your iOS timezone. If you crossed timezones the day before, the boundary may shift. Open the app to see the current state.
Likely a timezone mismatch — the date you saved is interpreted differently by your current device timezone. Edit the countdown and re-pick the date.
Not Another Countdown stores on-device. iOS Backup (iCloud or computer) preserves app data. After restore, the countdowns return.
