Yes! You can use Not Another Countdown for free with up to 3 countdowns. This includes all features like widgets, notifications, and recurring events. Upgrade to Premium for unlimited countdowns.

No account required. Just download the app and start creating countdowns immediately. Your data syncs automatically via iCloud if you're signed in to your Apple ID.

Not Another Countdown works on iPhone running iOS 17 or later. iPad support is coming in a future update.

Long-press on your Home Screen, tap the + button in the top corner, search for "Not Another Countdown", then choose your widget size (Small, Medium, or Large) and tap "Add Widget".

Long-press on your Lock Screen, tap "Customize", select the Lock Screen, tap the widget area above or below the time, then find "Not Another Countdown" and choose Circular, Rectangular, or Inline style.

The widget automatically shows your next upcoming countdown. When that event passes, it switches to the next one.

Widgets update approximately every minute. The countdown displayed is always accurate to within a minute or two.

Try opening the app once to refresh the data. If the issue persists, remove the widget and add it again. Make sure you have at least one future countdown event.

You can set reminders for: Day of event (morning notification), Day before, and Week before. Enable or disable each option per event.

Check that notifications are enabled in Settings → Notifications → Not Another Countdown. Make sure "Allow Notifications" is on and your notification settings (Banners, Sounds, Badges) are configured.

Notifications are sent at 9:00 AM on the scheduled day. If you set a specific time for your event, the "day of" notification will arrive at that time.

When you enable "Repeats Annually" for an event, the countdown automatically calculates to the next occurrence. Perfect for birthdays and anniversaries — set it once and it counts down year after year.

The countdown immediately starts counting toward next year's date. For example, if your friend's birthday was yesterday, the app now shows the countdown to their next birthday.

Recurring events always show the upcoming occurrence. Non-recurring past events appear in the "Past Events" section with a "time since" display.

Premium unlocks unlimited countdowns. All other features (widgets, notifications, recurring events, categories, icons) are available in the free version.

Three options: Lifetime ($4.99 one-time), Annual ($4.99/year), or Monthly ($0.99/month). Lifetime is the best value — pay once, own forever.

Open the app, go to Settings (gear icon), scroll down and tap "Restore Purchases". Your purchase will be restored if you're signed in with the same Apple ID.

Open Settings on your iPhone → tap your name → Subscriptions → Not Another Countdown → Cancel Subscription. You'll keep access until the end of your billing period.

Refunds are handled by Apple. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com to request a refund for any App Store purchase.

Yes. Your countdown data stays on your device and in your personal iCloud account. We don't collect, store, or have access to any of your data.

Your countdowns sync automatically via iCloud when you're signed in with the same Apple ID on multiple devices.

You can delete individual countdowns by swiping left on them or using the delete button in the detail view. To remove all data, delete the app from your device.

Try force-quitting the app and reopening it. If the issue continues, restart your iPhone. Still having trouble? Make sure you have the latest version from the App Store.

Check that your event date and time are set correctly. Also verify your iPhone's time zone is correct in Settings → General → Date & Time.
